Becky Samuelson SWA
Isle of Wight artist Becky Samuelson is a painter of seascapes and landscapes primarily in acrylic, watercolour and oil. She is based on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight with her studio and art gallery in St Helens, PO331TJ which is open for visits; she has been painting full time for 36 years.
The Isle of Wight is a special place to live and paint and Becky's inspiration comes from the amazing Island coastline and landscape plus her travels abroad. Light and colour are integral to her paintings and more recently she has been exploring this through her work in acrylic on sailcloth. Painting en plein air gives her the most satisfaction and connection with her subject.
Becky is a member of the Society of Women Artists, Isle of Wight Art Club and Bembridge Art Society. Her paintings have been exhibited widely through galleries and exhibitions; she is a tutor in Adult Education and contributed to the Leisure Painter Magazine for many years.
Becky specializes in Isle of Wight paintings but also has a portfolio of Tuscan and Corfu Paintings. Please contact Becky to discuss commissions in acrylic, oil or watercolour or for any painting query.
